Is about Red Crescent again. And again, it open my eyes towards how it work, and learn something new.
2 days events, I was there for 2 days and a half night. I was informed earlier by Sir Muniandy, to help him in demonstration on 2nd day, Sunday itself.
I was there, without knowing the real schedule and place. Only thing I do is, call up with the geng, ask for gathering time at Cawangan. Gathered, took the necessary thing (Include the MMURC membership cards), and depart.
We were there one Produa Rusa Van, Renault Kangaroo, Honday Civic, and 4 motorbike. Move in a convoy way, and some how I doesn’t not agree with them when some one actually stop the traffic to give way to us to go first. For me, is a misuse, and unlawful~
It took some time, since all were not familiar with the place~
What we did for the first day was, setting up~and those who really work only few of us. It was a new experience for me, as I never get to see this kind of tents before. But so bad, I forget to snap the picture of the tents.
The tents is for participants of the Medical Camp. I was been told that the camp is for kid, but I never expert there are kids that are 5 years old participating the camp…

Found out many people missing in action after some time. We never think of leaving, and we not even allow to leave. But still fine, dinner is provided. Wonder why some muslim can fast and work hard, but some complaint a lot~”wei, ko nak suruh orang puasa g angkat?”LOL.. No heart of fasting, better don fast..

We tidy up those extra tents, which we carry all the way up to the place, and bring it down again~ After all, we send the thing back to branch. Send back the transport, and without any preparation, I drove the Kangaroo in KL at night, which both of us dono the route. Simply go and find, finally get the way safely. Thought we can just go after that, but thing not as what planned. We need to stay to wait for the person in charge to come, and help up for the activities. The kids was quite fun anyway.
Having bandaging session with them, and night walk. Challenging for me, as I never get to handle kids in this age. Off and back to campus at 12.30 from Pudu, reached campus at 1.00am. Thanks to Mr Govinda.

Second day
Was a bit different. Blood Donation, medical check up and exhibition. 10 from MMU + a friend of mine was in-charge for exhibition and demonstration of first aid. Changes made and I have to restructure my plan. Unexpected, VIP visited the exhibition booths before the officiate the ceremony. Feel bad, when forget a step when performing CPR demo~at the same time, great to see potential on members, also improvement of PeiGueh. He explain the case nicely, and steadily. Congratz..

A very surprise action from a member (PohChing) who in-charge of selling First Aid Handbook. She recommended the book to the YB, and before the YB leave with the book, she voice out: ” Sir, this book is cost RM3.00, and you have to pay”. YB: “wah, I have to pay also arh? I thought is free” All the officers were shock, and I was sweating~ What happen next, what to do next~Next moment, YB said ok, and took out the wallet, : ” can I give more than 3? ” Hu..solve the issue, and he get two books from us, while we get RM** from him~But some how, this is politic. And some how, it was suppose to be done in this way. There are no different, even you are Barack Obama. We are all man kind, why must be treated in different way? Good job anyway

There were not much crowd *wonder why*. And we use the free time we have to learn something from sir Muniandy, assistant director of training, Selangor Branch.
We did witness an interesting argument between officer, on CPR. Don’t want to mention more about it, but I did learn something from the incident also~Practice make perfect, and trust in yourself. Hope other members did learn something as well, though I know some of you is bored…

Lot of thing I witness, I gone through, and unhealthy culture. But, what to care, and comment? Better still, we look at ourselves, and try to improve ourselves, how to contribute more to the society. Just love this organization, with no reason~
